As of now..Susan and I are planning to leave BR on Tuesday at NOON (11:30-12:00).  We will be stopping for the night in Birmingham, Al. (a good halfway point).If others need to follow and it would be better to leave a bit earlier...That could be arranged as well. Let Me know if you can join up either in BR or along the way.

We have been staying at the Hampton Inn, but Collin may have convinced us to try the "Amerisuites".  More on that later.

Due to the fact that many trips are full, they are adding another events.  Keep looking in on it from now till.

All that really means is that we will have time to do several road trips of our own throughout the time we are there.  We will definitely do a Cherohala Skyway run, Several Dragon runs, The unavoidable Hell Bender.  AND a number of scenic runs.  Susan and I want to go to Cherokee.  It is a reservation community that is picturesque with a piece of mountain that is truly spectacular.  Click here for things to do in the Graham County area. Is everyone aware that the entire Dragon is closed due to the rock slide....I am hearing that it is not going to be opened back up unit September!!!!  What Tha!!!!!!!!

That could be the case,  Knowing Tn. they are still scratching their you know what and have not started to move any rock yet.  But have no fear we don't need no stinking Tn. There are plenty of other roads just as good.  Relax, Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez
